I'm Kate Salama, M.D.
I am a board certified integrative reproductive psychiatrist with expertise in the intersection between mental health, hormonal fluctuations, and reproductive life transitions. I I specialize in supporting women navigating PMDD, fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and the menopause transition. I have hands in both the conventional and functional medical worlds, combining pharmacotherapy with nutrition, supplementation, and in depth lab testing. I am also one of the few psychiatrists trained in hormone replacement therapy. I have a private practice in Denver, CO and also see patients virtually in MA, NY, and NJ (where I'm from and have trained).Â
I'm a mom of three, a wife, and a firm believer that iced coffee is a year-round necessity, not a seasonal drink. When I’m not in the office or chasing my kids, you’ll find me adding cottage cheese to everything I eat in a never-ending quest for more protein, listening to podcasts on how to build the ultimate email marketing list, or trying to sneak away for a hike in the Denver Foothills.Â
